2016 Grants Cycle Nears Completion

Under the leadership of co-chairs Renee Licht and Mary Beth Richards, the GT Grants Committee recently completed its review of the proposals submitted for 2016 grants. All the proposals focus on Hunger and Nutrition - the topic chosen this year by GT members.

The committee met several times over the summer to discuss the submissions and made site visits to the organizations under consideration. In August, the committee winnowed the field to four semi-finalists. After the GT board approved the nominees, the full membership was notified of the organizations they would be considering at the Annual Meeting on September 28. Two organizations will receive grants of $25,000 each, with additional funds to be determined.
